Collecting in Uganda in 2009

Uganda is a landlocked country in eastern Africa. The equator is passing through the southern third of its territory. The largest part of the country constitutes a uniform undulating plateau of the African continental shelf at 1000-1500 m altitude. Uganda takes its name from the earlier kingdom of Buganda, which encompassed a portion of the southern part of the country including the actual capital Kampala.
