

Nothobranchius taiti, new species
For many years, we have been aware of the existence of a mysterious Nothobranchius fish in eastern Uganda, known only from preserved museum specimens and a field photograph. It was collected by Colin Tait in 1969 and 1971 and its identity has remained a mystery since that time. It seemed that it represents one of those elusive species, which have proven difficult to re-collect since their discovery.
